The majority of respondents to our initial Regional Energy Plan survey believe we should be doing more to address energy use and climate change and nearly all of them believed that taking local action on energy use and climate change was of high importance.
Most respondents were supportive of the draft vision and principles serving as the foundation for the Regional Energy Plan and felt that the benefits of the plan included the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the reduction of energy costs, the creation of jobs and the creation of a more resilient energy system.
