When you work for Essex-Windsor EMS, you are more than a first responder. You are a respected member of the community and part of a professional service that gives back to so many groups in so many valuable ways.
We are a partner with The Safety Village, a not-for-profit community organization that engages with youth, and we regularly have Paramedics speak with youth about health and safety.
We participate in parades in Windsor and Essex County's seven local municipalities and we participate annually in Pride parades and events. We are a diverse and progressive service and we are proud to reflect the diverse community in which we serve.
As members, we are embedded in our community — we are coaches and volunteers and organizers of myriad fundraisers — and as service we are united in support of a wide variety of different causes. We collect toys for kids, we donate canned goods to area food banks, we volunteer to drive an ambulance delivering last wishes to palliative patients, we grow moustaches to help fight cancer and we sell newspapers every year to raise thousands of dollars to feed families across the region.
Wherever there is a need, Paramedics with Essex-Windsor EMS are there to offer a caring and compassionate hand.
Come and join our team! Make a difference. Every day.
