Construction and Road Closures Update – September 12, 2025

County Road 27 will be closed between County Road 8 and County Road 46 for bridge rehabilitation work beginning July 14 for approximately 15 weeks.  Please use caution and follow the posted detour.

County Road 11 will be closed between County Road 10 to County Road 12 for approximately 15 weeks beginning the week of August 5 for bridge rehabilitation work.

County Road 34 will have lane restrictions between Wilson Sideroad and the Town of Essex limit (Mun 401) beginning Thursday, September 18 for road construction.

County Road 42 will have lane restrictions between County Road 31 and Rochester Townline beginning Friday, September 5 for road construction.

Please exercise PATIENCE with the line painting operations. Be prepared to drive slowly and do not drive over the wet paint to prevent damage to your vehicle

County Road 42 will be closed at County Road 19/Manning Road starting at 7 a.m. Monday, June 2, for the construction of a new roundabout.

Construction of the roundabout is expected to last until late September.

Area motorists are advised of the following closures and detours:

• Westbound traffic along County Road 42 will need to use Patillo Road to County Road 22. No westbound traffic will be permitted through the intersection of County Road 42 and Manning.
• Eastbound traffic along County Road 42 will be closed at Lesperance Road to local traffic only. Starting Saturday, August 9 no access to Southbound Manning Road will be permitted.  The main detour for eastbound traffic will be Banwell Road to EC Row Expressway.
• Manning Road will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic during this phase of the project with intermittent closures along Manning Road during the day.
• Starting Saturday, August 9 temporary stoplights will be in effect for alternating traffic through the project area.
