One-day limited closure for County Road 43 in Tecumseh

County Road 43 (Banwell Road) in the Town of Tecumseh will be closed all day on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025 – to permit surface asphalt paving on the diversion around Tecumseh Vista Academy.

Specifically, traffic on 43 will be closed for the day between Shields Street and the roundabout intersection at County Road 42.

Here are the detours: Those travelling southbound on 43 will be diverted eastward onto Shields. And those who had hoped to exit the roundabout northbound onto 43 instead will have to take one of the three other exits.
