2026 Fest-for-All

We are seeking participants for this year's festival in Cottam!

The Essex County Accessibility Advisory Committee is planning for the 2026 Accessibility Fest-for-All and is pleased to announce the event will be held at the Gosfield Communications Community Centre in Cottam, Ontario on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This special event aims to showcase accessible activities through demonstrations, products, services and information by engaging with the local community of accessibility-minded businesses and people who promote inclusion in activities and spaces for people with varying levels of ability.

Opportunities to participate include:

  • Demonstration of an activity
  • Information booth (Bring your own)
  • Product demonstration
  • Other fun ideas that showcase accessible activities

If your company or organization would like to be considered to participate in this special event, kindly fill out the Expression of Interest form before June 8, 2026. There is no charge to apply and no charge to participate.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) process will be transparent, fair and aimed at selecting vendors who align with the event’s theme and objectives. Applications will be reviewed and selected for participation by County of Essex Administration and the Essex County Accessibility Advisory Committee.

2025 Fest-for-All

A blast was had by all at Amherstburg's Libro Centre!

The 2025 Fest-for-All was hosted at the Libro Credit Union Centre in Amherstburg. The event featured more than 40 information booths, demonstrations and live performances.

The day kicked off with a baseball game featuring players from the Amherstburg Miracle League, an organization that highlights the joy and camaraderie of sport for athletes of all abilities. Later in the day, attendees watched an exhibition sledge hockey game by the Windsor Ice Bullets, hosted inside the Libro Centre’s accessible arena. Attendees also participated in a fitness demonstration by Suesanity Pound Fitness, and adaptive yoga by From the Ground Up. 

Additional highlights included interactive exhibits, music, giveaways and a chance to connect with local service providers, advocates and businesses that are championing accessibility in Windsor-Essex.
