Construction and Road Closures Update – May 2, 2025

County Road 8 will be closed between County Road 9 and County Road 3 for bridge rehabilitation work, beginning February 18 for about 4 months. Please use caution and follow the posted detour. (Map ID#1) 

County Road 8 will have lane restrictions between Walker Sideroad and County Road 15 beginning Monday, May 5 for road construction (Map ID #2) 

County Road 20 will have lane restrictions between County Road 3 and River Canard Bridge beginning Monday, May 5 for road construction. (Map ID #3) 

County Road 27 will have lane restrictions between MN#2678 and 350m North of County Road 8 beginning Monday, May 5 for road construction (Map ID #4) 

County Road 50 will have lane restrictions between Park Street and Bell Road beginning Monday, May 5 for road construction (Map ID #5) 

Please exercise patience with the line painting operations. Be prepared to drive slowly and do not drive over the wet paint to prevent damage to your vehicle

Work on Phases 3 and 4 of the County Road 42 and County Road 19 reconstruction project is scheduled to begin on May 12. Motorists should expect detours and intermittent road closures.

It is anticipated that all major construction activity for Phase 3 – The construction of the new roundabout at CR 42 and CR 19 will be completed by the end of September 2025. (Map ID #6) 

Once Phase 3 is complete construction will begin on Phase 4 – The widening of CR 42 between CR 43 and CR 19. It is anticipated that Phase 4 will be completed by the end of June 2026. (Map ID #7)
