  • Input Sought for Pathway to Potential’s Updated Poverty Reduction Strategy

    Residents of Windsor and Essex County will have the opportunity to provide input on the area’s poverty reduction strategy by participating in public meetings either in person or virtually this month. The purpose of the consultation is to gather input from city and county residents on their priorities and concerns as Pathway to Potential (P2P) works to ensure the strategy aligns with current and future community needs.

  • Public Invited to Review Updated Shoreline Natural Hazard Mapping

    The public is invited to open houses in early December to see updated shoreline natural hazard mapping for the Essex-Windsor region and learn how it will be used. The updated mapping has been commissioned by the County of Essex in partnership with the Essex Region Conservation Authority.

  • 2023-11-15 Essex County Council Regular Meeting Notice

    There will be a meeting of Essex County Council on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, which is scheduled to commence at 6:00 PM. As permitted pursuant to By-law 2022-31, being a by-law to provide rules governing the order and proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex, adopted on October 19, 2022, the meeting will take place with members of County Council in person at the Essex County Civic Centre.
